Several of you have asked to see pictures of Cale's room. As most of you know, my huband is a huge nascar fan. So of course since we had a boy, the room had to be a race car theme. We actually found a nascar bedding set for the crib. That has been our inspiration for the room. We have it painted, but we are not finished with all of the decorating. We have a guy that is going to come and paint a mural over his crib. And I plan on getting some other race car decor to go in the room. But here is what we have done so far!
The funny thing about these cars (on the shelves - there are about 10 of them) is that his Daddy will never let him touch them! They are collectables not toys. I dont know how he is going to explain that to him when he is about 2 years old and wants to play with them!

Hi. I found your blog through Jobeth's blog. I love the room! I had to make a comment. Our little boy, Owen's room is cars. We have shelves on 3 walls that are high up (close to the ceiling) and they are filled with diecast model cars (they belong to my hubby). Well, Owen keeps looking and reaching for them. He is almost 2 and is very anxious to play with them. Needless to say, that will never happen! lol
