6 month pictures

We took Cale 2 weeks ago to have his 6 month pictures made. He is getting so big, so fast! He now has a tooth, can sit up for short periods by himself, and is scooting all over the place! I cant believe how fast my little boy is growing up.

Not-So-Wordless Wednesday

So I know this should be wordless, but I had to explain. Cale stayed with Michelle (our pastor's wife) this past Monday because our regular sitter was out of town. Well, Bro Wayne and Michelle are from Alabama - that is what makes this photo so funny. She took it more for Bryan than me. Then she explained it was "the only stuffed animal she had in the house" :)

Sickness!

Cale and I are battling colds right now! Yuck! He ran a fever all day yesterday, but it seems to be gone now. So, he and I are staying home from church because we dont want to spread our germs. Hopefully we will both be better soon!

Sitting Up

Cale is learning how to sit up. Some days he does better than others. Bryan's parents were over Sunday for the Super Bowl and I snapped a few shots of them playing on the floor with Cale, trying to get him to sit up.

Our first tooth!

Cale officially has his first tooth. He has been teething for quite a while now. But his gums never really got swollen or real red, so I was not expecting teeth any time soon. Boy was I wrong. I was giving him some teething tablets this afternoon when I realized there was something hard there. You can just barely see it, but you can definately feel it! Once it really shows I will snag a picture of it....

After realizing how well we matched yesterday, we attempted a family photo using the "self timer". I thought it turned out quite well!

Happy 1/2 Birthday

I can't believe that my baby boy is officially 6 months old. It seem just like yesterday he made his grand appearance (on his own time!). He is still like that today. He is so laid back and in no hurry to do anything. He can roll over, but chooses not too. He can scoot, but is not in any hurry to crawl. We are working on sitting up. He does good sometimes and other times he gets too excited and forgets what he is supposed to be doing. No teeth yet, although he is teething and drooling like CRAZY!!! He knows his name and loves to talk. He has the best smile and is happy almost all of the time. We have been blessed with such a wonderful bundle of joy! Love you little man!!!!
