New Do...

...hair do, that is :)

Cale went for his second hair cut today. Yes, he is only 8 months old and already having his 2nd hair cut....I know, I know!

His new hair that is coming in much lighter. So once Tina cut off a lot of the longer hair that was darker, his hair really lightened up a lot!

He is growing up too fast. Now he looks like a little boy instead of a baby!

Mommy had her hair done today too!

Cale looked so handsome in his new spring clothes (thanks Granny!) this morning, that we had to snag a few pictures before we left for church...

PS....Cale now has a tooth on top and I think he is working on another one up there :)

Off to Nana's

Well Cale is gone to my mom's house. She picked him up this afternoon and will have him until Thursday afternoon. This will be the second time that she has had him like this. I always have mixed emotions when he goes. I am happy that he is getting to spend time with his Nana and Poppy. They live an hour away so they don't get to see him as often as they would like. I am also glad for a short break. But on the other hand....I miss my little man. It is just the simple things that I really miss. Like checking on him before I go to bed and seeing that sweet smiling face first thing in the morning. It always feels strange when he is gone. I cant wait to see him in a few days!

Daddy's Little Helper

Bryan decided to wash vehicles today. Since Cale loves being outside, I thought we would go outside with Daddy. He is definately a Daddy's boy and did not take his eyes off of Bryan. So, I thought it would be fun for Cale to "help" Daddy wash the Tahoe.

After helping a little, I decided to get the stroller. I can only hold him for so long because he is SOLID. We sat outside for a little while, until it was nap time. I know it wont be long before Cale is chasing after his Daddy everywhere he goes :)

Peak-a-boo

Yesterday after work Cale and I made a run to Target. Now that he is sitting up good, it is a lot easier to take him and put him the the cart. He did great as always. On the way home he fell asleep. So when we got to the house I tried to just take him and put him in his crib to finish out his nap.....YEAH RIGHT!!!! That did not happen. Within a few minutes he had turned himself completely around and was looking through the slats of the crib, out his door, and down the hallway at me sitting on the couch....and he was grinning the whole time! So needless to say, he did not go back to sleep!

Loungin'

My sweet boy can finally hold a bottle all by himself!!!! We have been working on it, but he can finally make it through a bottle...

Bryan came home yesterday and it was quite warm. So he changed out of his work clothes into some shorts and no shirt. Well he thought it might be funny to take Cale's shirt off too! So here is the result of him lounging on the couch shirtless. He is such a warm body like his daddy, he loved it!

Dinner at the Pickett's

We went to Jesse and Kristin's this past weekend and had dinner with them, Ryan and Heather, and Ashlee and Daniel. It was fun to get together and to get the babies together. Here are a few pictures of Cale and Kaylee Grace. Some how those are the only 2 I got pictures of. I know that Kristin and Heather took pictures on their cameras, so if I get any of those pictures I will post them later...
